Every business has an origin story. Ours begins with the founder, Samuel Newman and his passion for ceramics and the atmospheric firing process. Clay is an amazing material, its moldable, durable, soft and supple, but our favorite quality is its ability to form community. It takes a village to fire a kiln, community is integral to an atmospheric clay practice. Samuel was seeking a side hustle that would serve his community and bring joy and relaxation to people’s lives.
